San Francisco Center for the Book 25 Year Logo
"The San Francisco Center for the Book, founded in 1996, is a center of
inspiration for the book arts world, featuring the art and craft of letterpress
printing, bookbinding and artists’ bookmaking. We are dedicated to the art of
the book!"
Our friends at the San Francisco Center for the Book approached us to design the 25th Anniversary logo to be displayed for the entire year. The creative brief covered the main logo and identity suite. The original SFCB logo was created by Studio Hinrichs, and based on typeface Futura. We wanted to honor the original design and focused on how we can celebrate history and the future simultaneously.
