Mister Ted Boerner
After 40 plus years as the principal of Ted Boerner, Inc, the renowned furniture designer from San Francisco, Ted, decided he was ready to move on to something new. He was ready to embark on an open-ended creative journey, doing anything that he felt creatively inclined to do. That could be ceramics, furniture design, space organization, interiors, or anything arty. So, it was time for a new identity. I was approached to design a new brand identity for Mister Ted Boerner, a mature-post-awesome-career identity that was both emblematic of his style but forward looking to engage a new type of serendipitous clientele. Some brand themes themes included contrast, witty, fresh, and unpredictable.
