Production Figures Exhibition
About the CCA's Furniture Department:
With deep roots in the Arts and Crafts movement, the Furniture program prepares students for versatile careers in a rapidly changing landscape. We teach craft-based methods alongside digital fabrication methods, emphasizing innovation, sustainability, and collaboration.
I collaborated with CCA's Furniture Department Chair to establish an exhibit identity that would be displayed at the ICFF show, North America's leading interior design trade fair for connection and commerce. The program's presence at the show was to highlight the college's innovative program while also showcasing senior students as up-and-coming talent. Along with the booth design, we designed a commemorative giveaway that promoted the furniture program as well as the student's work.

The Production Figures theme was developed by the program's students and advisors as a way to highlight the innovation behind production style furniture. Production or mass produced furniture is often not seen as well designed, built, or made of great materials. The exhibit identity was a reflection of automated movements in the production cycle. Each of the student's designs were included into the main art.
